Gyangtze Hotel

Located in the downtown area of Gyangtse city and boasting a a strong Tibetan flavour, the Gyangtse Hotel has 124 guest rooms equipped with cable television and direct dial phones. Guests will enjoy the sun-lit lobby, posh café & bar, handicrafts filled shopping center. beauty & massage salon, sauna, a ballroom, fitness center.

Tibet Hotel
Hotel Class: First Class
The hotel is located in the city center, and a short distance to the renowned Potala Palace and Lhasa Square. Furnished in Tibetan style, guest rooms have gorgeous veiw of the nearby mountains and include air conditioning, satellite television, hair dryer, in-room safe, mini bar, internet access, telephone and television. The property includes three restaurants featuring Catonese and Tibetan cuisine, beauty salon, gym, room service, sauna and shopping.

Xigatze Manasarovar Hotel
Hotel Class: First Class
The Xigatze Hotel is a three star hotel located in downtown Xigatze City. The 123 guest rooms are decorated in traditional Tibetan style.

Day 1 - Lhasa, Tibet
Upon arrival at the airport, our guide is on-hand to escort you by private car to the 4-star Tibet Hotel, where we’ve reserved a comfortable guestroom in the VIP Building. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax and acclimate to the altitude.

Day 2 - Explore Lhasa
Your private car, driver and guide await this morning to show you some of Tibet’s most significant sites including the Potala Palace#WHS#, Jokhang Monastery and the lively Barkhor Market. Meals B,L,D

Day 3 - Lhasa / Gyangtze
Visit Sang Ding Monastery and see Lake Yamdrok Yumtso, one of three holy Tibetan lakes, as you journey with your private car, driver and guide to the peaceful town of Gyangtze. We’ve arranged for a picnic lunch today, and you’ll also stop by a primary school for insight into daily life here in Tibet. We encourage you to bring paper and other school supplies for the classrooms that you will visit. You’ll overnight at the comfortable Gyangtze Hotel. Meals B,L,D

Day 4 - Gyangtze / Xigaze
Join your guide this morning for a private tour of Baiju Monastery and Gyangtze’s charming Old Town, rich with old Tibetan architecture. Stop in a small nearby village to see a traditional water mill and visit Pala Manor, the former estate of the once-powerful Pala family. En route to Xigaze, you’ll spend time with a village family to learn more about the rhythms of daily Tibetan life outside of the city. Overnight at the Manasarovar Hotel. Meals B,L,D

Day 5 - Xigaze / Lhasa
Tour the stunning golden-roofed Tashtlhunpo Monastery and then return by private car to the Tibet Hotel in Lhasa. Meals B,L,D

Day 6 - Lhasa
You’ll be escorted by private car to the airport for your onward journey.
