Day 1 - Luxury awaits you in Beijing...
You’ll be greeted upon arrival and escorted by chauffeured car to the Shangri-La Hotel.

Day 2 - Out and about in Beijing
Sightseeing with your private car, driver and guide includes Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City#WHS# and the Temple of Heaven#WHS#. Meals B,L

Day 3 - Special visit to the Great Wall
Travel by private car to a remote section of the Great Wall, where reconstruction is ongoing and visitors are rare. Assist the effort by placing your own brick in the wall and then visit a nearby commune for lunch. Back in the city, explore by rickshaw through the narrow lanes of a hutong and see the iconic Olympic venues. Meals B,L

Day 4 - Tai Chi at the Summer Palace
A private Tai Chi class on the lovely grounds of the Summer Palace#WHS# promises an auspicious start to your day. Fly to Xian and transfer by private car to the 5-star Shangri-La Hotel. Meals B,L

Day 5 - The amazing Terra Cotta Army#WHS#
Tour the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum to learn about China’s greatest archaeological discovery! After lunch, your car and driver are at your disposal to explore as you wish. Meals B,L

Day 6 - Touch Antiquity and on to Shanghai
Touch Antiquity with curators at the Shaanxi History Museum, examining and handling priceless ancient artifacts. Savor Xian’s famous dumplings at lunch and fly to Shanghai where the MagLev Train whisks you downtown to check in at the Shangri-La Hotel. Meals B,L

Day 7 - Sightseeing... Shanghai style!
Your private tour takes you along the historic waterfront Bund and through the highly regarded collections of the Shanghai Museum. Stroll in Yu Yuan Garden, explore the classic architecture and hip boutiques of Xin Tiandi and sit down to a delightful Dim Sum lunch. Meals B,L

Day 8 - Shanghai as you please
Your personal car, driver and guide are at your service for 8 hours today. This is a wonderful opportunity to pursue your interests with our friendly and knowledgeable guide. Meals B

Day 9 - Farewell to Shanghai
Your private car and driver await this morning to drive you to the airport. Meals B
