Day 1 - From Punta Arenas to Torres del Paine
Upon arrival in Punta Arenas, you’ll be greeted at the airport for your scenic overland transfer deep into the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. Check in to the award-winning Explora Patagonia and enjoy the balance of your day at leisure – surrounded by these breathtaking vistas of water, mountains and sky. [Note: This transfer is scheduled for guests arriving Punta Arenas Airport before 4:30pm. If your flight is scheduled to arrive later than this, we can arrange an overnight hotel stay for you in the charming town of Punta Arenas.]

Day 2 - Exploring deep into the National Park
Explora Patagonia is celebrated for its unparalleled location, attentive service, terrific dining and – perhaps most of all – for its superb program of expertly-guided Park excursions. More than 35 unique explorations have been carefully designed by Explora; they include guided hikes and horseback rides for a couple hours or a full day, some gentle and others more physically demanding. These enriching excursions bring guests deep into the National Park to experience the singular landscapes, eco-systems and wildlife of Patagonia. Explorations are accompanied by experienced guides with commanding knowledge of Spanish and English. Longer tours include open-air picnics provided by Explora; to reach the more remote areas of the Park, minibuses or motorboats are used on certain routes. Each afternoon, expert guides meet with you in the Lodge to review the following day’s Explorations, and to help with the sometimes difficult task of choosing between the 7 to 14 different options offered each day. Day 3 - Another amazing day unfolds…
Continue your exploration of Torres del Paine today with another exciting, naturalist-guided excursion. This evening, sit down to another delightful dinner, Explora style! Under the direction of Laurent Pasqualetto, a team of 40 cooks and pastry chefs prepare outstanding meals that draw upon local traditions and ingredients. Stand out dishes include Magellanic lamb, Southern King crab and delicious fish and vegetables. Meals B,L,D

Day 4 - The adventure continues
Enjoy another unforgettable day highlighted by your choice of guided Park excursion, wonderful meals, and one of the most magnificent settings of any hotel on the planet! Meals B,L,D

Day 5 - Back to Punta Arenas
This morning, you’ll be transferred to the airport in Punta Arenas. [Note: This transfer is scheduled for guests departing Punta Arenas on flights after 12:00 noon. If you are on a morning flight, we can arrange extra night accommodations in Punta Arenas for a stay of 6 days or more. Meals B]
