Day 1 - Welcome to Santiago
Check in to the luxurious Ritz Carlton Hotel and settle-in to your guestroom. Then join your personal guide for a chauffeured private car tour of this handsome and sophisticated capital.

Day 2 - Into the Wine Country!
Journey south with your private car, driver and guide into the lush Maipo Valley to visit the historic Concha y Toro and Santa Rita wineries. Tour these 19th-century estates, sample their fine vintages and enjoy a hearty lunch of regional fare. Meals B,L

Day 3 - Fly South to Puerto Varas
Fly into the Lakes District, one of the most picturesque regions in South America. You’ll be warmly greeted upon arrival and escorted to the superior first class Cabanas del Lago, a warm and inviting hotel with an unbeatable location overlooking the tranquil expanse of Llanquihue Lake. In the afternoon, your privately guided tour explores historic Puerto Montt founded by German settlers in 1852 and Puerto Varas, a charming village on the shores of beautiful Llanquihue. Meals B

Day 4 - Explore the Lakes District
Your full-day privately guided excursion transports you deep into Nahuel Huapi, the 2nd oldest National Park in the world after our own Yellowstone. Nahuel Huapi’s spectacular forested peninsulas and bays often evoke comparison with the fjords of Norway. You’ll enjoy commanding views over these unforgettable landscapes when you ascend the Osorno Volcano to 4,000 feet. Continue on to Petrohue Falls and emerald-hued Lake Todos Los Santos. Meals B,L

Day 5 - Embark the MN Skorpios III
Fly to Punta Arenas and transfer to Puerto Natales to board your ship, the MN Skorpios III. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner onboard. Meals B,D

Day 6 - An Unforgettable Excursion into Torres del Paine
Step off ship for an exhilarating full-day excursion through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Southern Hemisphere. The morning finds you entering Torres del Paine National Park, a land of pristine snow-fed lakes, impressive glaciers and rugged mountain peaks. From the turquoise-hued Nordenskjöld Lake, you can expect a picture-perfect view of the Paine Horns, the oft-photographed granite peaks that stand so sharply silhouetted against the sky. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at the Serrano Hotel before continuing on to Toro Lake, one of the largest in the Park. Visit the Milodon Cave before returning to your ship in time to freshen up before dinner is served. Meals B,L,D

Day 7 - Cruising to Antrim Fjord
Enjoy the scenery this morning as the Skorpios III navigates through the Sarmiento, Pitt and Concepción Channels. Around midday, you cruise by the imposing Amalia Glacier and continue north to the ruggedly beautiful Antrim Fjord. Meals B,L,D

Day 8 - Pio XI Glacier & Puerto Eden
Early this morning, the ship will navigate in front of the immense Pio XI Glacier, the largest in South America with an ice-face towering nearly 250 feet. Cruise through Grappler Channel and go ashore on Wellington Island to explore life in the sea-locked village of Puerto Eden. There are no streets, so you’ll walk along footbridges as guides offer insight into the original Aboriginal inhabitants of the island. Meals B,L,D

Day 9 - Of Fjords & Glaciers
Cruising through the Calvo Fjord promises wonderful views of 4 glaciers, each distinct in hue, shape and size. Conditions permitting, board an icebreaker motorboat for an up-close visit to the Constantino Glacier and a traditional whiskey-on-the-rocks toast... with millennia-old glacial ice. The day’s sailing continues to Fernando Glacier and onward through the Peel Fjord. Late in the afternoon, you’ll step off ship to stand before the enormous mass of ice known as the Brujo Glacier. Meals B,L,D

Day 10 - Through Montañas Fjord and Across the Kirke Narrows
Another day of magnificent scenery unfolds as your ship cruises the Montañas Fjord and the Avenue of the Glaciers, five smaller glaciers that seemingly bridge sea, mountain and sky. Visit Bernal Glacier and continue sailing across the Kirke Narrows. This evening, your captain hosts a farewell dinner. Meals B,L,D

Day 11 - Disembark in Puerto Natales
Bid farewell to your fellow passengers and crew as you step off ship in Puerto Natales. Transfer to Punta Arenas where our program concludes. Meals B

World Traveler 2% Cash Discount

If you make payment by check, money order or electronic cash withdrawal and pay-in-full for your General Tours trip within 7 days of making your reservation, we'll discount the entire cost of your trip by 2%.

Your entire balance must be paid by personal check, travel agency check, money order or authorized electronic debit withdrawal (ACH) from a checking account to qualify; and your payment must be received by General Tours not later than seven (7) days from the date of your reservation to qualify. We recommend using a traceable overnight delivery method. If your check or electronic debit is returned from your bank for any reason, your reservation will no longer qualify for the 2% cash discount; a $25 processing fee will be added to your account balance; and all future payments will need to be made by credit card or certified funds.
