Day 1 - Buenos Aires, Argentina
Check in to the stylish and luxurious Sofitel Hotel, set on a peaceful tree-lined street close to some of the city’s finest shopping and dining.

Day 2 - Sightseeing in beautiful B.A.
Buenos Aires and its residents are a fascinating mosaic, with Italian, German, French and Spanish influences reflected in the culture, cuisine and architecture of this delightful city. Today’s tour explores this rich heritage; see the grand façade of the historic Teatro Colon, one of the world’s premier opera houses, and drive through the Plaza de Mayo, a vibrant hub of the city. Continue to La Boca, the district where the Tango originated, and then down Avenida 9 de Julio to the Obelisk – symbol of Buenos Aires. Tonight, a 1-hour Tango lesson is followed by dinner and a professional Tango show. Meals B,D

Day 3 - Gaucho Fiesta
Travel through the Argentine pampas to the sprawling Estancia Santa Susana. Enjoy a barbecue lunch of ranch-raised beef – asado criollo – and wonderful local wine, followed by a show of Argentine folk dances and music. Relax with your fellow guests or explore the countryside by horse-drawn sulky, a traditional two-wheeled carriage. Return to your hotel for a free evening. Meals B,L

Day 4 - Into Argentine Wine Country
You’ll be escorted to the airport for your included flight to Mendoza. Nestled at the foot of the Andes, this lovely city is the center of Argentina’s celebrated wine industry. Enjoy a leisurely 2-night stay at the Sheraton, the city’s newest 5-star hotel! Meals B

Day 5 - Of Mendoza, Malbec & Merlot…
Founded in the 16th century, Mendoza’s colorful history has graced the city with many beautiful monuments. Today’s sightseeing includes Independence Plaza, General Martin Park and the Hill of Glory, dedicated to Jose de San Martin, widely revered as the military hero who liberated Argentina and Chile from Spain. In the afternoon, you journey into the beautiful countryside to tour the vineyards and sample the vintages of two historic estates. Meals B,L

Day 6 - Across the Andes to Santiago, Chile
Today’s breathtaking overland motorcoach journey is an experience you will treasure for a lifetime. Travel across the mighty Andes Range and into Chile. Upon arrival in the capital, you’ll be warmly greeted by your guide and escorted to the luxurious Ritz Carlton.

Day 7 - Exploring and Cooking in Santiago!
Experience the sights and flavors of Santiago – with an unusual twist! Our guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel this morning, and together you venture forth by Metro to meet with our renowned chef. Stroll along winding streets and through historic plazas to a farmer’s market as our chef shares insights into this wonderful city. Sample local produce and shop for ingredients and spices. Then join the chef at home and together you’ll prepare a gourmet meal. Once the work is done, offer a toast to your host – with a glass of fine Chilean wine – and relax together over lunch.
