Day 1 - Welcome to Tokyo!Check in to the city-center hotel of your choice, the superior first class

Day 2 - A morning tour...Your morning sightseeing tour begins atop Tokyo Tower for great views over the city. With clear skies, you might even espy Mt. Fuji in the distance. Continue to the picturesque Imperial Palace Plaza and drive through Akihabara Electric Town. Then stroll among the traditional merchants of the colorful Nakamise Arcade to visit Asakusa Kannon Temple, the oldest in the city. Your tour ends downtown at Tokyo Station where dining and shopping options abound. Meals B
Day 3 - Tokyo as you pleaseA free day to enjoy at your own pace. Your hotel’s heart-of-it-all location makes it so easy to explore, shop and dine on your own! Day 4 - Ride the Bullet Train to KyotoStep aboard the famous Shinkansen (Bullet Train) at Tokyo Station. Traveling safely at speeds up to 180 miles per hours, you’ll arrive in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan and still very much the spiritual and artistic heart of the country. Day 6 - Day at leisureYou have the entire day to spend as you wish. You can join an available tour to ancient Nara to visit Todai-ji Temple and the forested lantern-lined paths of Kasuga Shrine. Meals B
Day 7 - Depart KyotoOur tour with ends this morning. Meals B
Add the Tranquil Beauty of Hakone… On Day 4, you’ll depart Tokyo by motorcoach and ascend halfway up the slopes of Mt. Fuji to the Fifth Station. Then enjoy a relaxing cruise on picturesque Lake Ashi and overnight at a hot springs resort in Hakone National Park. The next day, you continue on to Kyoto by Bullet Train to resume your tour. We include two meals, sightseeing, all transportation between Tokyo, Hakone and Kyoto and a choice of the first class
