Day 1 - Into the rainforest!
Upon arrival at San José Airport, you’ll be met for your scenic private car transfer into the lush Sarapiqui Rainforest, where a magical experience awaits you at the Hacienda Pozo Azul! Enjoy a spacious canvas tent comfortably equipped with cozy beds, en suite bathroom, and your own furnished deck with terrific views of the surrounding nature.

Day 2 - Choose your own adventure
Customize your stay here in Sarapiqui with the included adventure of your choice!

• Whitewater Rafting: Enjoy thrilling Class II and III rafting on the Sarapiqui River.
• Sarapiqui Float Trip: A relaxing boat trip down a more tranquil stretch of the Sarapiqui River as it winds through the rainforest is a great way to learn about the incredible biodiversity found in the tropics.
• Canopy Tour: Explore high above the forest floor in the lush canopy. This guided zip-line tour through the tree-tops offers a unique perspective on the biodiversity of a tropical forest.

Day 3 - More adventures of your choice & on to Arenal
Choose another included adventure this morning! It might be horseback riding, a naturalist-guided rainforest hike or an adrenaline-rushing rappel tour. Later, your private car transfer affords scenic travel at an unhurried pace tailored to your preference. At the Termales del Bosque Resort, you’ll walk into the forest for a relaxing soak in their natural hot springs, mineral-rich waters heated by the geothermal forces of the Earth. Day 4 - Tailor your day in Arenal

• La Fortuna Waterfall on Horseback: A 90-minute horseback ride and a short hike through the forest bring you to this spectacular waterfall – where you can take a refreshing swim in a natural pool.
• Hike the Volcano: Enjoy a guided moderate hike along the base of Arenal through forested trails.
• Suspended Bridges: Explore high in the forest canopy for an up-close observation of the rainforest’s flora and fauna. 15 hanging bridges wind their way through the primary forest with unparalleled views of Arenal Volcano.
• Canopy Tour: Adrenaline-rushing adventure awaits! Gain a new perspective on the rainforest as you “fly” along zip-lines through the treetops! There are 12 platforms and over 1,000 feet of steel cable strung through the canopy to offer you plenty of adventure and exploration.
• Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge: Drive to Los Chiles and raft the Rio Frio with your naturalist guide; it’s a great opportunity for bird-watching and wildlife viewing here in this environmentally significant wetland region.

A scenic drive with your private car and driver brings you to the banks of the Rio Corobici for a gentle expedition downriver, a great way to encounter the lush vegetation, tropical wildlife and colorful birds of the forest. Continue onward to Rincon de la Vieja, an eco-adventure paradise with dense, lush forests and four volcanoes.
