Day 1 - Dubai

Crowne Plaza Dubai Day 2 - Dubai / Sharjah Excursion Your morning tour of the Emirate of Sharjah includes the Mosque and the lively waterfront, crowded with Dhows – traditional Arab sailing vessels. See Al Hisn Fort, built in 1820, and explore the local souqs, including the Blue Souq, with more than 600 shops selling carpets, gold, antiques and perfumes. In the late afternoon, go ‘Dune Bashing’ – a thrilling excursion by 4WD jeep across the towering sand dunes just a short drive from the glittering skyscrapers of downtown. Meals B,D Day 3 - Dubai / Muscat / Al Sawadi Fly to Muscat, the capital of Oman, and drive to Al Sawadi, the “Seashell Beach.” Settle-in to your deluxe resort, set on a private beach with lovely views of the offshore Sawadi Isles. The local souq is renowned for its intricately carved “khanjars” or daggers, and beautifully crafted silver jewelry. Continue to Muscat and check-in to your deluxe hotel, set on the golden sands and azure waters of the Gulf of Oman. After lunch, visit the colorful Muttrah Souk and the Bait Al Zubair Museum for an overview of Oman’s history. See the magnificent Al Alam Palace, residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Surrounded by soaring contemporary architecture, see the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque and visit Bastakia, an old part of the city famous for its wind-tower homes built in Dubai’s early days. Inside Al Fahidi Fort, the Dubai Museum illuminates the city’s trading and pearl-diving past. Then journey by Abra – local water taxis – across Dubai Creek to explore the bustling alleys of the gold and spice souks. Continue to Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, and visit Heritage Village to learn about traditional Bedouin life, and then drive along The Corniche, a beautiful sweep of park-lined coastal boulevards graced by gardens, fountains and waterfalls. Meals B,L Hilton Hotel Abu Dhabi Day 7 - Abu Dhabi / Al Ain / Dubai Tour the meticulously-restored Al Husn Fort and the charming Bitnah Harbour. Continue to Al Ain, designed as a “garden city” with tree- lined boulevards and fountains. Visit the Al Ain Palace Museum, once the residence of the ruler of Abu Dhabi, and then drive to Buraimi to explore its souk and camel market. Tour the archaeological excavations in Hili and continue to Dubai for a free evening.
