Day 2 - Tokyo
A morning tour showcases the city’s scenic and historic highlights: the Imperial Palace Plaza for a glimpse into the very private life of the Imperial family; Asakusa Kannon Temple, the oldest in the city, where you can stroll through the colorful Nakamise Arcade; and the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Meiji Shrine. Day 3 - Tokyo
Your hotel’s great location makes it easy to explore at your own pace today. From April to November, you can join an available tour to Nikko#WHS# to see the magnificent Toshogu Shrine. Meals B

Day 4 - Tokyo / Mt. Fuji / Hakone
Ascend halfway up the slopes of Mt. Fuji to enjoy the splendid views and continue on to Hakone, set amidst pine-clad mountains. A cruise on Lake Ashi is followed by a cable car ride up Mt. Komaga-take. Tonight, enjoy an “onsen” – a soothing Japanese hot-spring bath – and dinner at your deluxe resort hotel, set between the Hakone mountains and stunning Sagami Bay. Day 5 - Hakone / Mishima / Kyoto
This morning you’ll travel along the scenic road to Mishima and board the Bullet Train. Upon arrival in Kyoto, check-in to your superior first-class, city-center hotel. Or experience an authentic Japanese inn for one night by staying at the Yoshi-ima Ryokan. Day 6 - Kyoto / Nara/ Kyoto
Discover the captivating beauty of Kyoto on today’s sightseeing tour. Visit Kinkaku-ji Temple#WHS#, the Golden Pavilion; the vermilion-hued Heian Shrine; and Sanjusangendo Temple with its famed 1,001 statues of Buddha. This afternoon, travel to ancient Nara#WHS# where you’ll visit Todai-Ji Temple, the largest wooden structure in the world; Kasuga Shrine, famed for its beautiful, forested pathways lined with stone lanterns; and tranquil Deer Park. Day 7 - Kyoto / Kurashiki
Travel by Bullet Train from Kyoto to Kurashiki and check-in to your deluxe hotel. Your escorted walking tour through this picturesque city takes you along canals and bridges to the Ohara Art Museum to see its impressive collection of Asian and European art. Day 8 - Kurashiki / Okayama / Hiroshima

Day 9 - Hiroshima / Miyajiima Island / Kyoto
