Lemala Luxury Camp
Hotel Class: Lodge
This unique moving camp actually follows the Great Wildebeest Migration! From July through October, this intimate luxury camp sits on a rocky outcrop overlooking the great expanse of the northern Serengeti toward the Mara River which flows just a few minutes away. This privileged location affords guests the opportunity to witness the migration river crossings without large crowds of other visitors. In December, the Camp is tucked in a grove of Acacia trees near a spillway which flows from Lake Ndutu. The water and salts of the spillway attract large numbers of plains animals – and their predators who crouch not far away in the grasses that grow along the edges of the spillway. Regardless of seasonal location, each luxury tent sits on a wooden platform, stylishly decorated with a dressing area and private en suite bathroom. Guests dine in a cozily furnished Mess Tent, with beer, wine, and spirits available during meals.
