Day 1 - Cracow, Poland
Welcome to Cracow#WHS#! Check-in to your boutique hotel in the heart of this historic, royal city. The charming Hotel Amadeus offers stylish Baroque interiors in a 17th century townhouse just steps away from the grandeur of Market Square. This evening, gather with fellow travelers for a welcome dinner. Meals D

Day 2 - Cracow
Today’s in-depth sightseeing tour begins in the historic Kazimierz district of the city. Then visit Wawel Castle and stroll with your guide through Old Town#WHS# to Market Square and the beautifully-ornate Cloth Hall. See lovely St. Mary’s Church before returning to your hotel for the balance of the afternoon at leisure. This evening, we’ll take you to one of our favorite city restaurants for a dinner of hearty Polish fare. Meals B,D

Day 3 - A FreeStyle Day in Cracow
Tailor your journey with the included excursion of your choice. Meals B:

Wielizca Salt Mines#WHS#: Visit this vast underground complex where miners-turned-artists have created a labyrinth of passages and caverns, with elaborate chapels of crystalline salt ornamented with beautiful sculptures carved from the salt rock.
Auschwitz Memorial#WHS#: Join your guide for this in-depth excursion to the somber memorial at Auschwitz. It’s a powerful experience that will resonate with you for a lifetime.
Tyskie Brewery: The rich heritage of this brewery stretches back to 1613 when it was owned by the local Promnice family. By the end of the 19th century, it was one of the largest and most modern breweries on the Continent. Of course, this guided excursion includes a tasting of this historic beer!

Day 4 - Cracow / Warsaw
After breakfast, board the train for a scenic rail journey through the Polish countryside to Warsaw. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and escorted to the deluxe Polonia Palace Hotel, a city landmark for nearly 100 years. The balance of your day is at leisure here in the heart of the city. Meals B

Day 5 - Warsaw
Today’s privately-guided sightseeing tour explores all the highlights, beginning along the historic Royal Road, graced with Baroque mansions and stately buildings. See picturesque Lazienki Park and enjoy a guided walk through Old Town to Market Square to see the grand Royal Palace. Visit the Warsaw Museum and stop by the city’s oldest pastry shop for coffee and pastry. Meals B

Day 6 - Warsaw / Berlin, Germany
Travel by first class rail to Berlin where you’ll be met and escorted to nearby Potsdam to board your luxury ship, the MV Katharina or MV Frederic Chopin. Settle-in to your outside stateroom and enjoy dinner in the ship’s elegant dining room. Meals B,D

Day 7 - Cruising / Eberswalde
Step ashore to explore at your own pace in this picturesque medieval town. Meals B,L,D

Day 8 - Szczecin, Poland
The rich history of this strategically positioned city is evident in its many monuments. Your guided visit includes the 400-year-old castle, Jasne Blonia Gardens, and St. James Cathedral, an outstanding example of high Gothic style. From the Oder Balcony, you’ll enjoy fine views across the river. Meals B,L,D

Day 9 - Wolin Island
This enchanting Baltic Sea island is home to rare flora and fauna, and much of this remote isle is now a national park. Your tour ashore includes the historic town of Kamien Pomorski and the Romanesque-Gothic cathedral of St. John, where you enjoy a short concert on its beautiful organ. Journey across this picturesque island to the seaside resort of Miedzyzdroje and stroll along the promenade before returning to your ship. Meals B,L,D

Day 10 - Royal Seaside Resorts of Peenemunde
Your morning excursion begins in Ahlbeck, a former Imperial spa town renowned for its picturesque turreted marina and impressive gold-plated Art Nouveau town clock. You can step back on the motorcoach and ride, or stroll along the lovely promenade, to the enchanting village of Heringsdorf, a fashionable resort popular since the 19th century. After lunch onboard ship, an afternoon tour explores the ancient Hanseatic port city of Greifswald. Your guided walk through market square brings you to the Baroque Town Hall and St. Nicholas Cathedral. Meals B,L,D

Day 11 - - Lauterbach, Isle of Rugen
Your tour on the Isle of Rugen includes two lovely Baltic resorts. First, you explore the Castle Park in Putbus and then journey by historic narrow gauge railway to Binz, an enchanting seaside resort with quaint shops and inviting cafes. Meals B,L,D

Day 12 - Vitte, Hiddensee Island
Discover the culture and pastoral landscapes of Hiddensee Island during your horse-drawn carriage tour and visit the Gerhart Hauptmann Museum, dedicated to the German poet. Meals B,L,D

Day 13 - Stralsund
Disembark in Stralsund#WHS# this morning. Transfers to Berlin are available. Meals B
