Hotel Class: Deluxe
This world-famous deluxe resort is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and provides the ultimate in service and scenery. The hotel is perched atop a hill between the picturesque Lake Nahuel Huapi and Lake Moreno, with views of the stunning Mt. Lopez, Mt. Capilla, and Mt. Tronador. There are two in-house restaurants, as well as a clubhouse serving lunch to those who visit the golf course located onsite. Facilities also include a deluxe spa, golf course, gym, aerobics/dance classes, and game room. Babysitting is available at an additional cost in the specially-designed Kids Club area. Rooms include mini-bar, cable TV, and safe.

Hotel Class: Deluxe
The Sofitel Hotel is located in Buenos Aires with convenient access to shopping, cultural events, and local attractions. All guest rooms have air-conditioning, mini-bar, cable TV, telephone, voicemail, and internet connection. Other amenities include the fitness center, café, and restaurant.

Located in front of the famous Copacabana and close to Ipanema beaches, this superior first class hotel is considered as one of the most prestigious in Rio. Day 1 - Welcome to Santiago
Check-in to the luxury Ritz Carlton Santiago in the heart of the city. Afternoon sightseeing features the neoclassical La Moneda Palace, a drive through Forestal Park and Bellavista, the bohemian quarter of Santiago. Ascend San Cristobal Hill for unsurpassed views over the city and return to your hotel for dinner. Meals D

Day 2 - Excursion to the wine country and a hands-on estate visit
Journey by rail through the scenic Colchagua Valley to San Fernando. Visit the Colchagua Museum, a private collection of pre-Columbian. Then tour the historic Vina Mont Gras estate and work with a master vintner to craft your own wine from start to finish... blending three vintages, bottling, corking and labeling your finished product! Return to Santiago and the luxurious Ritz Carlton. Meals B,L

Day 3 - Fly into the Chilean Lake District
Return to Santiago and board your flight for Puerto Montt. Visit Angelmó Cove, set on a picturesque bay, and wander through the lively fish market with its wonderful family-run lunch stands. Journey along Llanquihue Lake to Puerto Varas and check-in to the inviting Cabañas del Lago, overlooking Llanquihue. Meals B

Day 4 - By lake and land to the Llao Llao Resort
An unforgettable day unfolds as you journey into some of the most breathtaking landscapes on the planet. Your dramatic crossing of the Andes from Chile to Argentina transports you through a stunning landscape of emerald lakes and snow-capped volcanoes. You’ll voyage by motorcoach, boat and catamaran – crossing lakes and land to arrive in Puerto Pañuelo. Continue on and check-in to the to the world-famous Llao-Llao Resort, an historic lodge built in the tradition of the grand hotels of the North American Rockies. Meals B

Day 5 - Explore Nahuel Huapi National Park
Journey along the southern lakeshore to Nahuel Huapi National Park, popular for forested peninsulas and bays that often evoke comparison with the fjords of Norway. A cable car ascent affords commanding views over forest, mountain and lake. Meals B

Day 6 - Fly to Buenos Aires
Fly to Buenos Aires and the deluxe Sofitel Hotel. Meals B

Day 7 - Sophisticated, multi-cultural Buenos Aires
This morning’s sightseeing begins in historic Plaza de Mayo, the lively hub of the city, and continues along Avenida 9 de Julio, known as the world’s widest boulevard. Then explore La Boca, the charming riverfront enclave where the Tango originated. Tonight, we’ll take you to one of our favorite nightclubs for dinner and a show of authentic Argentine tango. Day 8 - Buenos Aires at leisure
Enjoy a full day to explore from your city-center hotel. Meals B

Day 9 - Over and under Iguassu Falls#WHS#
Fly to Iguassu, transfer to the deluxe Loi Suites and then join your guide to explore these magnificent cascades. Visit all the best vantage points on the Argentine side and then board a boat to see the falls from below! Meals B

Day 10 - Fly to Rio!
Upon arrival in lovely Rio, you’ll be escorted to the deluxe Sofitel. Meals B

Day 11 - Tailor your day in Rio!
Your friendly guide awaits this morning to lead you on the included sightseeing excursion of your choice!

• Sugarloaf Mountain: Ascend by cable car for a breathtaking view, with a sparkling crescent of Atlantic beaches and the city spread before you!
• Mt. Corcovado: Ascend by train to visit the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer, named one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.. Rio is filled with so many exciting things to see and do, and your guide is available with expert recommendations for your free afternoon. Meals B

Day 12 - Farewell to Rio

If you make payment by check, money order or electronic cash withdrawal and pay-in-full for your General Tours trip within 7 days of making your reservation, we'll discount the entire cost of your trip by 2%.

Your entire balance must be paid by personal check, travel agency check, money order or authorized electronic debit withdrawal (ACH) from a checking account to qualify; and your payment must be received by General Tours not later than seven (7) days from the date of your reservation to qualify.
