Day 2 - Discover Singapore
Today’s privately-guided escorted sightseeing tour reveals the city’s rich historic legacy and the energetic multi-cultural pace of life today. Begin with a drive through Little India, filled with colorful shophouses, and continue past Parliament, Supreme Court, and City Hall – impressive reminders of Singapore’s Colonial heritage. Then ascend Mt. Faber for a bird’s eye view of the city and stop at the Botanic Gardens to see a striking display of orchids. You’ll take a ride on the Singapore Flyer before lunch at Seafood Paradise. Then explore the bustling districts of Toa Payoh and Geylang for a glimpse into the daily rhythms of Singapore city life. Day 3 - Singapore at Leisure
A full day free to explore, shop or just relax at your own pace. This evening, we’ll take you to the Singapore City Gallery to see a fascinating architectural scale model of the city. Then you’ll visit the Chinatown Heritage Center, where traditional Chinese shophouses have been restored to present the fascinating history of their early occupants - immigrants who arrived from southern China in the early 19th century. Day 4 - Singapore / Beijing, China

Day 5 - Beijing
Visit Tiananmen Square, one of the grandest public plazas in the world, and the Forbidden City#WHS# , once the exclusive enclave of the ‘Sons of Heaven’ who ruled over the Chinese Empire. Explore the lovely palaces, pavilions, and landscaped grounds of the Summer Palace#WHS#, with a tranquil boat ride on Kunming Lake (Apr to Nov). Day 9 - Xian: Terra Cotta Warriors
Today you’ll visit Excavation Pits 1-3 at China’s greatest archaeological site - where thousands of life-sized terra cotta warriors#WHS# and horses were buried 2,000 years ago to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor. At lunch, chefs will demonstrate the ancient art of noodle making. Then explore a local open-air market with your guide before visiting the old City Walls. Meals B,L

Day 10 - Xian: Touch Antiquity / Chongqing
At the Xian Museum this morning, you’ll join curatorial staff for a private session to Touch Antiquity, a rare opportunity to handle priceless artifacts thousands of years old. Then fly to Chongqing in southwest China and board your luxury ship, the finest of the 5-star Victoria fleet. Day 11 - Cruising / Shibaozhai
Visit Shibaozhai on the southern shore of the river, an architectural gem from the Qing Dynasty. Set against a dramatic 720-foot hill, this 12-story vermilion-hued wooden pavilion hugs the cliff, offering marvelous views of the winding river and surrounding countryside. Meals B,L,D

Day 12 - Cruising / Three Gorges and Lesser Gorges
Cruise Qutang Gorge, the narrowest and most spectacular of the Three Gorges. Later, motorized sampans take you up the Danning River through the picturesque Lesser Gorges, a land of rushing water and steep forested slopes. Back on board, cruise through picturesque Wu Gorge before entering the ship locks of the monumental Three Gorges Dam. Meals B,L,D

Day 13 - Three Gorges Dam / Shanghai
Visit the Three Gorges Dam, an enormous project designed to provide electricity, flood control, and improved river navigation along the Yangtze. Hundreds of cities and villages are impacted by the rising waters of the Dam, and more than one million residents have been displaced by the project. Day 14 - Shanghai
Full-day touring begins with a drive along the Bund, Shanghai’s grand waterfront boulevard, and continues through the historic French Concession. Day 15 - Suzhou Excursion
Travel to Suzhou#WHS#, famed for its classic gardens. Visit the Garden of the Master of Nets, first designed a thousand years ago during the Song Dynasty. Its beautiful central pond is graced with landscaped pathways, ornamented pavilions, and a delicate stone bridge. Your exploration of this ancient city continues with the Marco Polo Bridge and the aptly-named Lingering Garden. Return to your luxury hotel in Shanghai. Meals B,L

Day 16 - Zhujiajiao Excursion / Guilin
