Day 1 - Arrive Lijiang#WHS#

Day 2 - Excursion to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
Today’s in-depth touring with your private guide begins with a breathtaking cable car ascent up Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to Yunshanping Meadow, a beautiful grassland meadow surrounded by glistening, snow-capped peaks. Then visit Baisha Village to see colorful, highly-detailed, 500-year-old frescoes that offer fascinating insight into Tibetan Buddhism. Meals B,L,D

Day 3 - Excursion to Tiger Leaping Gorge
After breakfast, travel by private car through the stunning vistas of mountain and sky to the First Bend of the Yangtze River, downstream from its source high in the Tibetan Plateau. Continue on to Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest river canyons in the world. Return to Lijiang, and the intimate sanctuary of your luxury accommodations. Meals B,L

Day 4 - Lijiang / Board the luxury Tangula Train / Dali
Your private car and driver await this morning to escort you to the rail station. Step aboard the new Tangula Train where your butler is on-hand to assist as you settle in to your luxurious suite. Enjoy lunch onboard in the elegant dining car as the train departs Lijiang bound for exciting places awaiting your discovery. In the afternoon, you arrive Dali for an off-train excursion in this historic town. Explore Dali’s unique stone architecture and discover the colorful traditions of the indigenous Bai people. Dinner this evening will be served in the single-seating Dining Car as the train speeds eastward toward Kunming. Meals B,L,D

Day 5 - Kunming – On Board the Luxury Tangula Train
Revered by the Chinese as the ‘City of Eternal Spring’, Kunming is blessed with a pleasant year-round climate and great natural beauty. Today’s excursion reveals the elegant hilltop temples, tranquil lakes, and picturesque parks that grace Kunming. Meals B,L,D

Day 6 - Guilin – On Board the Luxury Tangula Train
The tranquil Li River and emerald, mist-enshrouded peaks of Guilin have inspired artists and poets for centuries. Step-off train this morning to explore this captivating landscape. In the afternoon, you depart for Beijing. Relax in the sanctuary of your private suite or enjoy the passing vistas and camaraderie of your fellow travelers in the Scenic Car. Day 7 - Arrive Beijing

Day 8 - Discover Beijing
Your full-day private sightseeing tour explores China’s past and present, from the most treasured ancient sites to the iconic symbols of 21st century Beijing. Day 9 - Beijing – Great Wall & Ming Tombs Excursion
A thrilling day unfolds as you travel by private car into the rugged mountain landscapes north of Beijing, where the Great Wall#WHS# stretches onward for thousands of miles. Walk atop this ancient fortification and then visit the Ming Tombs#WHS#, burial site of 13 Chinese Emperors. Stroll along the statue-lined Sacred Way and tour Changling, greatest of these ancient burial sites. Meals B,L
