The Mughal
Hotel Class: Deluxe
The Mughal is located at the heart of the city, and is a blend of old world charm and exceptional service. Guests have pool and garden views from their rooms, as well as air-conditioning, cable TV, telephone, and radio. Guests can dine at one of the five restaurants, or extend out into the city and find their own restaurant of choice. Other hotel amenities include massage, tour services, florist, sauna, outdoor heated pool, steam baths, tennis, and a sauna.

Taj Malabar
Hotel Class: Luxury
Situated on Willingdon Island, the Taj Malabar has a magnificent view of Cochin harbor. Since 1935 the Taj Malabar has been inviting guests to enjoy the local culture. All 96 rooms have wireless internet access, international telephones, mini-bar, and satellite TV. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the Taj Spa, as well as backwater cruises, the fitness center, Jacuzzi, steam room, swimming pool, and speed boat rides. Additionally, outside recreation can be found, anything from golf to visiting a spice plantation.

Le Meridien

Day 2 - In Delhi
See the Chandni Chowk Market, Red Fort and Raj Ghat. Drive along Rajpath in New Delhi, past the India Gate and Parliament, to Humyun’s Tomb#WHS# and Qutab Minar#WHS#. Meals B,L

Day 3 - Akshardham Excursion
Visit Akshardham, a monumental complex of carved stone and water that captures 10,000 years of Indian architecture and traditions. Meals B

Day 4 - Delhi / Varanasi
Fly to Varanasi, one of the oldest cities in the world, and check-in to your deluxe hotel, an oasis of tranquility. Visit Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Meals B
Taj Ganges

Day 5 - Varanasi
At dawn, journey along the Ganges by boat as the river banks come alive with thousands of devotees bathing in the sacred waters for purification. Then explore the city’s highlights. Meals B,L,D

Day 6 - Varanasi / Khajuraho
Fly to Khajuraho and visit the spectacular 10th century temples#WHS#, renowned for their erotic carvings. Meals B
Taj Chandela

Day 7 - Khajuraho / Agra
Visit the Orcha Temple and then travel to Agra by train. Upon your evening arrival, transfer to your deluxe hotel. Meals B,D
Mughal Luxury Collection

Day 8 - Agra
Today’s sightseeing includes the Agra Fort#WHS# and the breathtaking Taj Mahal#WHS#. Meals B,L

Day 9 - Agra / Jaipur
Drive through the colorful Rajasthani countryside to visit Fatehpur Sikri#WHS#, the abandoned red sandstone capital of Emperor Akbar – in pristine condition after 500 years. Arrive in the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur and check-in to your deluxe hotel. Meals B,D
Rajputana Sheraton Hotel

Day 10 - Jaipur
Enter into the Amber Fort atop an elephant and tour this marvelous example of Rajput architecture. Later, your city tour includes the City Palace Museum and Palace of Winds. Meals B,L

Day 11 - Jaipur / Udaipur
Fly to Udaipur, perhaps India’s most romantic city. Settle-in to your deluxe hotel before this evening’s boat ride on enchanting Lake Pichola. Meals B

Day 12 - Udaipur
Tour the ‘City of Dreams’ including Jagdish Temple and the gardens of Sahelion Ki Bari. Meals B

Day 14 - Cochin
Visit the Mattancherry Palace and St. Francis Church and then cruise the harbor. This evening, attend a performance of Kathakali dance. Meals B
