Temple Tiger Lodge

Built with little disruption to the natural world of Nepal, the Tiger Temple Lodge is situated on the grounds of the Royal Chitwan National Park. Over 450 species of birds alone will be there to greet guests arriving to this natural community of 33 lodges. Each lodge has a private balcony overlooking the grassland, with bathrooms attached. Day 2 - Delhi
Explore Old Delhi by rickshaw. Visit the Red Fort, Raj Ghat and Chandni Chowk market. Continue through New Delhi to Emperor Humayun’s Tomb#WHS# and Qutab Minar#WHS#. Tonight, savor the rich flavors of Indian cuisine and enjoy a performance of Indian Classical Dance. Meals B,D

Day 3 - Delhi / Jaipur

Day 4 - Jaipur
Enter the imposing Amber Palace by elephant! In the afternoon, tour the Palace Museum, Palace of the Winds and Jantar Mantar. Meals B,D

Day 5 - Jaipur / Agra
Drive through the colorful Rajasthani countryside to Agra. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikric, the perfectly preserved, red sandstone “ghost town” built in the 16th century. Enjoy two nights at your deluxe resort hotel. Meals B Jaypee Palace Hotel

Day 6 - Agra
Today’s sightseeing includes the imposing Agra Fort#WHS#, colorful city bazaars for an intimate look into everyday life in India and, of course, the truly awe-inspiring Taj Mahal#WHS#. Meals B,D

Day 7 - Agra / Delhi / Varanasi
Drive to Delhi for your flight to Varanasi, one of the most ancient cities in the world and the center of the Hindu faith. Upon arrival, visit Sarnath – the spot where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Check-in to your deluxe, centrally-located hotel. Meals B,D Taj Ganges Hotel

Day 8 - Varanasi
At dawn, take a boat ride on the Ganges River and see thousands of Hindus descend to the holy waters of the Ganges for purification – a powerful sight. Following breakfast, enjoy a tour of this ancient, spiritual city. Meals B

Day 9 - Varanasi / Kathmandu / Nepal

Day 10 - Kathmandu / Chitwan
Fly to Royal Chitwan National Park#WHS# at the foot of the Himalayas.
