Day 1 - Lima, Peru
Check-in to your choice of hotel, selected for warm service, regional charm and great location. Your choice of accommodations Day 2 - Lima / Cuzco Fly to Cuzco#WHS#, ancient capital of the Incan empire, and transfer to your choice of hotel – located close to the historic town center. After time to rest and adjust to the altitude, join your private guide to explore the city, including the Temple of the Sun. Continue by private car into the mountains outside of town to the amazing Inca site of Sacsayhuaman, known for its impressive masonry and great views over the city. You’ll also visit a child care center that provides food, clothing, and shelter for young children. We encourage you to bring supplies and donations – Your chance to make a difference in Peru. Meals B Your choice of accommodations Day 3 - Machu Picchu Excursion A full-day visit to Machu Picchu#WHS# begins aboard the Vistadome train through the Sacred Valley. As you journey along the Urubamba River, the scenery is spectacular... snow-capped Andean peaks, Indian villages and terraced fields. You’ll explore Machu Picchu with your own private guide, whose expertise will bring the ancient citadel to life, illuminating the history and culture of the once-great Inca Empire. Return to Cuzco in the evening by train.
