Check-in to your choice of hotel, carefully chosen for service, ambience, and a terrific location – the first class Grand Palace or the deluxe Le Meridien. Meals D

Day 2 - Tour Amman
Jordan’s capital is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Today you’ll visit the Archaeology and Folklore Museum, the Citadel and the Roman Amphitheater. Discover the rich flavors of Jordanian cuisine at tonight’s dinner and folklore show at Kan Zaman village. Meals B,D

Day 3 - Amman / Excursion to Dead Sea
Drive to the historic Dead Sea at the end of the River Jordan, where you can swim in the lowest spot on earth. In Pella, you’ll see well-preserved Roman ruins, the imposing Civic Complex Church and impressive remnants of the Bronze Age city walls. Stop at Um Qais for a spectacular view of the Sea of Galilee before returning to Amman in the late afternoon. Meals B,D

Day 4 - Amman / Discover Jerash and Ajlun castle
This morning you tour Jerash, the best-preserved provincial Roman city in the world. Next, visit the 12th century Saracen castle at Ajlun. Meals B,D

Day 5 - Amman / Along the Kings Way / Petra
Travel along the King’s Way to Madaba to marvel at Byzantine mosaics. See Mt. Nebo, traditional burial site of Moses and visit the ancient Crusader town of Kerak. Arrive in Petra#WHS#, Jordan’s most famous ancient city and one of the ‘New 7 Wonders of the World’. Check-in to your choice of hotel, the first Class Petra Crowne Plaza or the deluxes Mövenpick Petra Hotel, located directly across from the entrance to this World Heritage Site. Meals B,D

Day 6 - Explore Petra
Enjoy a full day to explore Petra, a spectacular architectural marvel and an important link in ancient caravan routes. The entire city is carved into the sides of a deep gorge, the only entrance through a narrow opening called the Siq. As you enter the lost city of Petra from between the 100-foot cliffs a remarkable vista unfolds: Temples, tombs, and dwellings chiseled out solid, rose-hued stone. Meals B,D

Day 7 - – Petra / Wadi Rum – Land of Lawrence of Arabia / Amman
Depart Petra this morning and journey into the amazing desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. Explore by jeep in this remote region, where sandstone and granite mountains rise, sheer-sided, from wide sandy valleys to reach heights of 4,000 feet and more. For many visitors, this land is associated with the 1962 film, Lawrence of Arabia – the Peter O’Toole epic which recounted the dramatic exploits of the Englishman who fought here alongside King Faisal during the Arab Revolt of 1917.

Continue on to Amman and check-in to your choice of hotel, the first class Grand Palace or the deluxe Le Meridien Hotel. Meals B,D
